Man For All Season

Although the UK festival season has been here for some time now, there are still a few left towards the end of the summer. One still to come is Green Man Festival, taking place on the 21st, 22nd and 23rd August.

Green Man is a music festival which also promotes environmental awareness, and celebrates literature, science, comedy and film. It began in 2003 as a one-day event organised by 3 friends, with 300 people attending, at Craig-y-Nos Castle, and over the years has grown in size and changed location.

Glanusk Park

Now held at Glanusk Park Estate in the Brecon Beacons, the site has beautiful scenery with the surrounding Sugar Loaf Mountain and the River Usk. The 2008 festival capped tickets at 10,000 and although much larger than it's early beginnings, the festival is still intimate and peaceful.
