Seattle drew 'A' grades virtually across the board for its 2010 NFL draft selections on April 22, 23 and 24, 2010, and has made a number of key acquisitions through trades and free-agent signings. So the Seahawks have definitely raised the bar of expectations.
In fact, reviews of the team's front-office moves have been so positive that there is buzz about the Seahawks being ready to supplant Arizona as NFC West champion. The Cardinals, 10-6 last season, still appear strong, but perhaps as much so without retired quarterback Kurt Warner.
Second-place San Francisco (8-8) also enjoyed a promising draft, and some are touting the 49ers as favorites. St. Louis (1-15) has improved, too, but the Rams are still in rebuilding mode.
